Our UK shops are now open!
Our Campbeltown, Edinburgh and London shops are now open to the public – but some COVID restrictions still apply.
As excited as we are to welcome you all back into the shops, it’s important to be mindful of the restrictions that are still in place.
Take a look below at the necessary guidelines for when you visit each shop.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all very soon!
Campbeltown
“It has been another long few months of lockdown but there seems to be sunshine on the horizon as we open our doors to customers once again. Although we are delighted to welcome you all back into the shop, it’s important we stick to the restrictions that are in place to keep everyone safe. We have included below all the necessary guidelines when visiting our shop.”
– Cadenhead’s Whisky Shop will undergo two deep cleaning sessions per day, with frequent wiping down of all surfaces and equipment throughout the day.
– Customers will be required to make use of our hand sanitising stations when entering and leaving Cadenhead’s Whisky Shop.
– We will be operating a 1 in 1 out access system – we must ask customers to enter the premises only when asked to do so by a member of staff to allow us to limit numbers in the shop at any one time.
– A one way system has been put in place for customers to follow. Staff will always be on hand to help with any queries you have.
– There will be one entry point and one exit point which will fall into place with our one way system.
– Customers allowed in the shop at any one time will be limited to 2 separate households, with families of up to 4 allowed access at the same time, as long as they share the same household. Eg. Two families of four will be allowed in at the same time, but only when social distancing can be adhered to.
– All staff will be required to wear appropriate PPE and customers will be asked to do the same. Face masks are now required by law when entering retail stores, so entry will be refused without the appropriate PPE.
– If you are unable to wear a face mask for medical reasons, please make a member of staff aware of your situation and we will make any necessary exemptions where possible.
– Customers must adhere to the 2 metre / 6ft social distancing guidelines at all times when inside the shop and when queuing outside.
– We ask that you avoid touching goods that you do not intend to buy where possible. Staff will be on hand to help with anything you may need to avoid this.
– We strongly encourage the use of contactless payment where possible.
– If you are collecting pre-ordered/paid bottles, we ask that you contact the shop before your visit so your order can be prepared.
– Customers may be asked to limit their shopping time during busy periods. Unfortunately samples will not be available for the foreseeable future.
– Unfortunately samples will not be available for the foreseeable future.
Regrettably, we must also inform you that no Tours or Tastings will be available for the time being. We know this may disappoint for some but we hope you can understand.
