Benriach-Glenlivet Information

A whisky known for being fruity and vibrant, Benriach (sometimes styled as "BenRiach") often contains notes of peaches and pears. A strong nose is also a recognisable calling card.

It gains an increasingly tropical nature as it matures and a spiciness has been known to develop.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Creme brûlée, hints of white pepper, hard boiled sweets, toffee popcorn and all spice.

Flavour:

Baked apples, fresh ginger, toffee, brown sugar, over ripe bananas, lemon olive oil and faint hint of oily smoke.

Finish:

Lingering creamy notes with kiwi and green apple skins.
