Glenrothes-Glenlivet Information

A weighty and complex spirit, Glenrothes whisky is produced on its site in Moray. Time and patience are key for the production, with a long distillation process and a decidedly lengthy maturation (which is arguably necessary due to the spirit style and cask types used).

The single malt is known for combining nuts and fruits with a distinctly sweet spiciness.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Toffee, hot cross buns and cassia bark. slightly herbal with hints of linseed oil.

Flavour:

White chocolate covered raisins, black cherries and golden syrup along with barbeque sauce and pineapple.

Finish:

Soft warming spice along with chocolate, caramel, figs and toffee apples.
