Miltonduff Information

A Speyside distillery known for producing light, floral spirit with a smooth texture. Known for being added to blends and being released under the Ballantine's brand.

Miltonduff, named after the Duff family which owned the estate it operated on, went legal in 1824 - like many whisky distillers, it had operated outside of the law for some time prior to this.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Crisp and dry, portugese tarts, vanilla pods and white chocolate.

Flavour:

faint lime pickle, coconut, whole ginger and olive oil. Green apple skins, hint of soya sauce with mint and fennel.

Finish:

Cappuccino, almond butter, sweetcorn and growing creaminess. Very refreshing.
