Miltonduff Information

A Speyside distillery known for producing light, floral spirit with a smooth texture. Known for being added to blends and being released under the Ballantine's brand.

Miltonduff, named after the Duff family which owned the estate it operated on, went legal in 1824 - like many whisky distillers, it had operated outside of the law for some time prior to this.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Mixture of gingerbread, spiced apples, lemon drizzle cake and pistachio nuts.

Flavour:

Chewy and creamy with growing fruitiness. Hint of wood spice, caramel and orange peel.

Finish:

Clotted cream, honey, black cherries, pineapple and green apple skins.
