A substantial Victorian distillery, Ardmore has scale which is surprising given its gentle rural surroundings. It is also unusual due to the style of whisky it produces – a peated Highland malt.

Nose:

Old Fashioned cocktail, smokey bacon crisps, sweet fruit notes with a hint of smoke

Flavour:

Blood oranges, old leather furniture, pipe tobacco
