If you are a Cadenhead’s regular, you may remember our first Indiana rye whiskey that we released back in 2022. It proved to be very popular and we are sure that this one will be too! The whiskey is sweet to start, with candy notes of bubblegum, cola cubes and parma violets. On the palate, there is an abundance of orange; blood orange, orange marmalade and the recollection of an old fashioned cocktail. This follows into the finish with white chocolate and a hint of aniseed.

Undisclosed Distllery (Indiana Rye) Information

Indiana Rye from an unnamed distillery. Laws to define Indiana Rye were introduced in 2021 and state that Indiana rye "must be 51% rye in the grain bill, distilled at no greater than 160 proof, placed in a barrel at no more than 125 proof..." Furthermore, the regulations add the Indiana-specific requirements that it be mashed, fermented, distilled, and then rested at least two years in the state of Indiana."
