Glen Moray-Glenlivet Information

A Speyside distillery that produces soft, fruity whisky.

It has been said that Glen Moray benefits from the closeness of the river (Lossie) and the high water table which produces a slightly warmer and more humid microclimate. This aids maturation.

As well as its traditional nature, more recently it has produced drams with a buttery note. And some others with peaty elements.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Foam bananas, parma violets, chocolate, syrup and summer fruits.

Flavour:

Creamy, creme brulee, malty, biscuity, honeycomb and citrus notes.

Finish:

Brazil nuts, chocolate raisins, banana fritters and banana loaf.
