Our very first bottling from the lowland distillery, Lochlea released their inaugural whisky in January 2022. This 5yo bottling is floral and fruity with notes of grapefruit, sherbert and custard cream biscuits, followed by a hint of nutmeg.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Grapefruit, sherbet, biscuit, vanilla, poached pears, banana.

Flavour:

Soda bread, tinned peaches, gooseberry, custard cream.

Finish:

Spice, nutmeg, honey nut coated cereal, toasted oak.
