Burnside is what’s known as a ‘teaspooned’ malt. This means that a tiny amount of whisky from another distillery is mixed with whisky from one distillery, so it can’t be sold as a single malt under any distillery’s name. This Burnside displays delicious notes of cola bottles, blood orange and figs.

Nose:

Cola bottles, Orange zest, fresh mint.

Flavour:

Blood orange, dates & walnuts. Takes water very well.

Finish:

Coffee cake, figs, golden syrup, barley.
