Glen Moray-Glenlivet Information

A Speyside distillery that produces soft, fruity whisky.

It has been said that Glen Moray benefits from the closeness of the river (Lossie) and the high water table which produces a slightly warmer and more humid microclimate. This aids maturation.

As well as its traditional nature, more recently it has produced drams with a buttery note. And some others with peaty elements.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Lemon bonbons, cocoa powder, hazelnuts and golden syrup.

Flavour:

Very syrupy with lime zest, persimmons, bergamot and a hint of liquorice.

Finish:

Long and syrupy with fennel, basil, lemon and growing runny honey finish.
