Glenburgie-Glenlivet Information

Based in Alves, Moray, Glenburgie Distillery was founded in 1810 and most of the spirit produced is used for blends - this highlights the role that independent bottlers have in the whisky industry, we provide whisky lovers with an increased chance to enjoy single malts that are hard to find elsewhere.

Glenburgie spirit is grassy and has "outdoorsy" notes. It's sweet and has a slight oiliness too.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Malt loaf, hints of molasses and icing sugar. oily and grassy. Custard creams.

Flavour:

Lemon peel, gingerbread, golden syrup and a little aniseed.

Finish:

Soft raisin notes along with ore gingerbread and vanilla icecream.
