Glenburgie-Glenlivet Information

Based in Alves, Moray, Glenburgie Distillery was founded in 1810 and most of the spirit produced is used for blends - this highlights the role that independent bottlers have in the whisky industry, we provide whisky lovers with an increased chance to enjoy single malts that are hard to find elsewhere.

Glenburgie spirit is grassy and has "outdoorsy" notes. It's sweet and has a slight oiliness too.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Oily and herbal, fennel, fried sage and a hint of corriander - mix with olive oil, lemongrass and chorizo.

Flavour:

Some dry smoke mixed with ripe fruits, kiwi, mango, peaches and dried apricots.

Finish:

Long lingering syrupy fruits with a hint of dry smoke.
