Miltonduff Information

A Speyside distillery known for producing light, floral spirit with a smooth texture. Known for being added to blends and being released under the Ballantine's brand.

Miltonduff, named after the Duff family which owned the estate it operated on, went legal in 1824 - like many whisky distillers, it had operated outside of the law for some time prior to this.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Dried apricots, orange peel, lemon drizzle cake with golden syrup and peaches.

Flavour:

Caramel shortbread, walnuts and hints of chocolate and coffee beans.

Finish:

Lemon meringue pie with a side of butterscotch.
